Hi, my name is Chelsea!

I believe it is a privilege to be a counselor and strive to create a safe space where you feel safe and heard. My primary approaches are person-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in social justice counseling. I view my clients through a multicultural lens and focus on individualizing my approach to unique client needs, combining modalities such as mindfulness, somatic work, and motivational interviewing into my approach, to promote holistic wellbeing.

My commitment to accessible and equitable care is deeply rooted in my understanding of the systemic barriers in accessing mental health services. During individual counseling sessions, I combine a variety of therapeutic approaches and mindfulness practices to support the unique needs of each individual. We will work collaboratively to set goals that promote sustained, holistic well-being.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Family Science from Lipscomb University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a variety of treatment settings, including in crisis mental health services, where I have experience walking alongside clients during some of their most challenging moments. I aim to provide empathetic support to all clients and be a calm amidst chaos.
