Hello, I’m Adam. I believe that effective, positive counseling experiences are centered on your unique therapeutic goals and helping you achieve them. Together, we’ll work in a non-judgmental space to clarify those goals and navigate through them—even when it feels uncomfortable—to support your journey toward wellness and authenticity.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that humans are inherently good but may engage in harmful behaviors as a response to trauma, often tied to family, relationships, socioeconomic status, and other life challenges. I take a person-centered, trauma-informed, and multimodal approach to ensure you feel supported while identifying and working toward your goals. I have a passion for working with men, especially around issues of masculinity and its impact on our lives and communities. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and enjoy working with adults ages 18 to 64.

I come from a diverse professional background. I initially earned a degree in graphic design and worked in the film industry before building a nearly 20-year career in web and graphic design. Along the way, I also explored professional brewing and, most recently, served as the educator for a local museum. Currently, I’m completing my Master’s in Counseling at Adams State University.

Outside of work, I love getting outdoors—hiking, running, and skiing—and I’m passionate about great coffee and food. I also enjoy diving into books and movies with lots of action and adventure.

I’m excited to meet you, and I look forward to the opportunity to work together!
