13+, Under 13 with guardian present, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA+, and family with/with out special needs

Hello, I’m Robert Stewart, AMFT. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families move past survival and into vibrant, authentic growth. I have experience working with LGBTQIA+, at-risk youth, children with special needs, families, and individuals. I completed my undergraduate degree at Western Washington University, then went on to get my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University.

I decided to go back to school and become a therapist so I can help people meet their full potential. Plus, help families and couples in need to build bridges and strengthen family bonds. Many of my clients are seeking relief from deep-seated family patterns, low self-worth, and communication struggles. My work is deeply rooted in the Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) model. With this holistic approach, we will use a humanistic, change-focused belief in the power of your own ability to foster growth and enact change. I don’t just focus on problems; I help you explore the underlying feelings, expectations, and perceptions that drive your behavior and relationships.

We live in such a beautiful part of the world, so some of my hobbies naturally include hiking, camping, and just taking in nature whenever I can. I also enjoy archery, sci-fi, video games, movies, reading, and spending time with my wife and kids. I believe in creating a therapeutic relationship characterized by warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. By connecting with your inner wisdom, you can create new possibilities for yourself and your family.
