I have spent the majority of my life in Oregon. After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon I went on to get my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. After graduating I spent 2 years working with families, children, and couples.
I enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. My focus comes from a systemic lens, meaning that I see cultural and environmental factors as contributors to life struggles. This also means that there are many parts that impact a person’s ability to interact with themselves and others. My work with couples is about creating new and healthy experiences.
Some of my interests include exercise and wellness, sports, movies, music, board games, playing piano, video games, drawing, and fishing. Therapy will look different for each individual, and I am willing to discover what that looks like. My goal and focus of therapy are to help people put together pieces in any sort of mental puzzles they might be struggling with. And to prepare people to step out into the world on their own and with their loved ones.
