Hello! I’m Natalie, an LMHCA based in Whatcom County.

I view therapy as a supportive container in which a client can explore, process, and grow in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
My approach is relational and holistic, meaning that I welcome all parts of a person into the therapy process– emotions, thoughts, somatic/physical experience, creativity, spirituality, and all of the unnamable things that make you uniquely who you are! Complexity is welcome here. I enjoy incorporating inner child work, art/creative expression, time outside, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and somatic exploration into our sessions together.

The core of my work as a therapist is supporting clients in developing a deeper sense of love for themselves and their world. I’m a firm believer in the innate wisdom and joy that each person holds, and it’s a privilege to walk beside clients as they explore their rich inner lives and develop the resources for living an engaged and meaningful life.

I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College. Prior to joining the Accent team, I’ve worked with survivors of gender based violence, taught art to middle schoolers, and worked with adults with developmental disabilities. Although I miss the high desert of New Mexico, I’m so happy to be back home in the Pacific Northwest, where I love to be outside looking at amazing plants and bugs. I also enjoy making music and art, practicing Aikido, and spending time with my loved ones..
