You are taking steps to seek help with various problems in your life. Luckily, we don’t have to face our problems alone. I am Karen Malsom, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. My therapeutic practice aims to support you through these rough patches with compassionate collaboration. You know your own life better than anyone, and together we can identify areas of change to support your growth. Creating a supportive space, exploring stress relief tools, and building new ways of thinking are a few ways we will work together. I have a background in client-focused care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and I am open to working with children, youth, parents, and individuals.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I previously lived in Seattle for many years and moved to Bellingham in 2014. From there I graduated with my Master’s degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2019 while working as an ABA provider in the area. I have also worked in Community Mental Health for 3 years as a child and family mental health clinician.
