Therapist

13+ and couples/families anxiety/ depression/ relationship struggles/ life transitions/ trauma

You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think; amidst life’s inevitable challenges, I fully believe that each person is equipped with strengths and the perpetual ability to heal and grow. As a therapist, my role is to accompany you on your journey, no matter where you may come from, where you may be now, or where you may be heading. I will meet you where you are at and collaborate with you on developing goals that support you toward the outcomes that you desire and a treatment plan that reflects your uniqueness as an individual.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals ages 13+ and couples processing trauma, dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues.

My approach is warm, relatable, and non-judgmental; I create a safe space to process through the ups and downs with clinical skills informed by Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. I also utilize modalities of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and somatic exercises related to Polyvagal Theory in our work together.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am dedicated to continued learning as a clinician both via continued education in professional spaces and through engaging with my clients who teach me new perspectives on the world we all live in.

Outside of work, I recharge by drinking delicious coffee, spending quality time with my loved ones, practicing yoga and mindfulness, and exploring the great outdoors!
