Aimee Frazier (she/her/hers)
Intern Therapist
Ages 18+ Grief & Loss, Relationships, Life Transitions, Parenting, Spirituality, Identity Exploration, Healthy Aging, Posttraumatic Growth
Thank you for being here. It takes courage to reach out for support! Life can be messy, and it is a natural response to avoid pain or confusion. But as the poet Rumi encouraged: “Don’t turn away. Keep your gaze on the bandaged place. That’s where the light enters you.”
I support clients with curiosity and caring, presence, deep listening, and unconditional acceptance as they look at their bandaged places, letting light in to create more authentic and fulfilling lives. Our time together will be as unique as you are. I follow your lead in sessions to explore what stories and parts of you are helping move toward the life you want, and which are holding you back. My goal is to create a safe space where every part of you is welcome.
I believe we learn best by incorporating processes that engage body, mind, and spirit. I use mindfulness, body-based, trauma-informed, creative arts, and emotion-focused approaches to free up what may be buried, but is already within you: awareness, peace, inner knowing, acceptance, emotional expression, and rich meaning.
I am grateful to be an intern therapist after a 35-year career supporting girls and women ages 7-97 in deepening their connection with themselves, others, and the natural world. I find wonder in free-spirited explorations in wild nature, feel joy in dancing, create rich connections with a global community, experience balance from yoga, meditation, and writing poetry, and gain perspective through cross-cultural immersion in non-Western cultures.
