Sara Airoldi (she/her)
Intern Therapist
18+, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, life transitions, spirituality, chronic illness/pain, multicultural counseling, existential and systemic concerns.
Let’s pause here. In the place of your inquiry, wherever you are at in a world that is spinning. It may feel very heavy. It may feel chaotic. You may feel very far away or trapped under everything.
Anxiety, depression, trauma, fear, anger, wonder, resilience…all are expressions in the context of the circumstances we face in our world. All can be met and transformed.
I use a unifying framework to integrate Collaborative, Relational-Cultural, and Narrative, CBT, Solution-Focused and Existential approaches as well as attachment-based theories. I offer opportunities for creative modalities including visual and somatic interactions with sand tray and play therapy centering strengths and intersectionality.
I believe every living being holds essential gifts in the world. Individual, systemic, and racialized harms can get in the way. I am here to meet you in the authentic, messy, hard… knowing you have what is needed inside of you to not just survive but live in vital interconnection.
…
Sara’s ancestral and inspirational ground is the meeting place between mountain and ocean. She loves to walk in snowy meadows and find the deeper freedoms and truths in poetry and spontaneous play.
