Therapy is a collaborative process whereby I will guide you to finding your own innate wisdom. The body holds all the answers it needs within itself, but at times, we lose sight of how to find those answers. Allow me to support you in finding the pathway to the answers you need most in assisting you on your journey to health and wholeness.

I offer a space of unconditional positive regard and acceptance for who you as a human-being have become to survive the suffering that can come with being alive and the experiences of life itself. We all encounter various forms of suffering that leads us to habits that help us to survive rather than to thrive. By uncovering these adaptive strategies we can begin to implement new habits that allow you to experience life and your connection to yourself more fully and vibrantly.  Through somatic therapy one can learn how the mind-body forms and interacts with specific environments. It is from this place that a vast amount of untapped resources can be found and the innate wisdom of the body resides.  My work is experiential in nature and involves working from a bottom-up approach to encourage healing. This means working with and through the body helping to connect the inseparable parts of a whole being.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington. I obtained my BS in Psychology from Western Washington University and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Somatic Counseling: Body Psychotherapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. My approach with clients is grounded both in science and the art of psychotherapy to create a balance of the two. As a certified animal-assisted practitioner, my interventions can incorporate animals into interventions in therapy. I am passionate about drawing from a diverse range of modalities in psychotherapy to engage clients in their own unique healing process. Some modalities I draw from include; arts-based, strengths-based, attachment work, somatics, integrative, parts-work, trauma-informed, mindfulness, relational life therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and animal-assisted.
Outside of work with clients, you can find me hiking, creating art, immersed in time with loved ones and my fur family of 3 (1 pup, 2 cats), in nature, and researching random hobbies/interests. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to connecting with you!
