Hello! I’m grateful for the chance to share my philosophy and the experiences that guide how I show up in the collaborative work of therapy.

My approach is integrative, relational, and holistic. I enjoy co-creating safe and supportive spaces that facilitate growth and healing through reflection and creativity. I believe that sharing and exploring our stories within the unique space of therapy fosters self-trust and deepens our relationship with ourselves and with others. My intention is to empower you to cultivate the changes and new connections and experiences you desire in your life.

Prior to joining Accent Counseling in 2019, I worked with adults, individually and in groups, in an array of non-profit, clinical, and nursing facility settings for six years in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. My therapeutic work with elders, caregivers, and people living with complex medical and health issues has deepened my belief that human connection supports healing. As a former facilitator for grief support groups, I have been honored to experience the transformation that happens when communities grieve together.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies at Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt) amidst the redwoods of Arcata, California. At Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, I earned my Masters of Arts Degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling and offered respite support as a Hospice volunteer. I also studied at Naropa University in the Transpersonal Counseling Psychology Masters of Arts program in Boulder, Colorado. While studying there, mindfulness became an integral part of my life and therapeutic work. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon.

I love traveling, hiking, reading, live music, and spending time in nature. I’m always seeking adventures and am grateful for the endless opportunities the Pacific Northwest offers.

Please reach out if you would like to set up a consultation. Thank you!
