Marques Creer has worked in the mental health field for seven years and has had several positions working with a wide variety of populations. Marques enjoys helping clients to accomplish their goals and improve their quality of life while also examining the cultural and environmental factors that negatively affect the client’s overall well-being. It is Marques’ desire to build a therapeutic alliance with clients and create a safe environment for clients to face what holds them back from living the life they want.
In his off time, Marques enjoys cooking, baking, woodworking, and learning American Sign Language. Marques plans to complete his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interpreter Training Technology, and wants to become fluent in ASL to provide mental health services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Marques holds a Masters Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University.
