Welcome! Beginning or returning to counseling can be a daunting task. I recognize the challenge of finding a therapist who is a good match (I’ve been there!), and I hope to provide a window into what you can expect when working with me. Foundationally, I believe every person experiences the world in their own unique way, and one of my goals is to understand your experience.
I approach therapy as a supportive member in a collaborative effort. My goal is to provide you with a safe place where you can grow and gain insight into yourself and your life circumstances and help uncover new pathways to healing. I bring compassion, care, curiosity, and sensitivity to my sessions and look forward to creating a meaningful space that meets you where you are on any given day.
I am an intern therapist and a Master of Science candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. My previous careers included being an environmental educator, a licensed massage therapist, and a paraeducator for students with disabilities. In my free time, I enjoy assisting my daughter as she picks up bugs and taking moments to pause and watch the wild world around me.
