Therapist

Adults and adolescents (13+), ADHD and neurodiversity, trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression

Life can be undeniably challenging at times. As a therapist, I am here to walk this journey with you, to honor your unique experiences, and to help you shoulder the weight of life’s ups and downs. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide a collaborative and supportive environment for your healing.

My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, and a non-judgmental approach. I am dedicated to creating a safe space where every client is recognized as the unique individual they are. I draw from various therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centered Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and Existential Theory. Additionally, I incorporate elements of attachment-based therapy. I will approach all of our work through a multicultural, LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed lens. I am particularly attuned to the ways in which oppression can affect one’s well-being and self-perception. I have undergone comprehensive training to assist individuals in their healing journey from past traumas, as well as in managing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and various other personal difficulties.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Asheville, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University Seattle. During my studies at Antioch University Seattle, I also earned a Certificate in Trauma Counseling.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my animals, reading, doing art projects, and exploring nature
