As a certified Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapist (DARTT), I work with those who have suffered any form of abuse and neglect in their past and desire to better understand the impact this has had on them individually and relationally, and heal the wounded parts of themselves. The DARTT framework offers an empowering, semi-structured, and integrative approach to processing and healing from childhood trauma.

Another passion of mine is working with couples. I work with couples using a unique method called Marathon Couple’s Therapy (MCT). In this form of couples therapy, I aim to help couples process and recover from relational injuries, learn new skills, and create deeper emotional connections and a more secure attachment using my training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman techniques.

I believe that the counseling relationship is one that should be open, collaborative, and without judgment. I strive to give my clients a space to feel fully seen and heard in their pain and growth by being compassionate, empathetic, and authentic in my role as a therapist.

I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Washington University. I hold a Trauma-Informed Therapy certification and integrate a variety of other evidence-based modalities including Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Internal Family Systems.

Outside of work, I enjoy balancing my time being active and relaxing, spending time with my close friends, and playing with my adorable dog and cat, Winston and Jojo.
