Project Description

Kaileh Butler, LMHCA

Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Inner-Child Work, Self-Compassion, Difficult Transitions, Family and Relationship Issues, Couples, and Grief and Loss.

“Telling stories is as basic to human beings as eating. More so, in fact, for while food makes us live, stories are what make our lives worth living” — Richard Kearney. Therapy gives us space to tell, explore, and even rewrite our unique individual stories in an honest and meaningful way. As your therapist, I feel honored and privileged to hear and be a part of this process with you.

Kaileh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Washington University as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University. Kaileh is also a trained Trauma-Informed Therapist. She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults, and adults in helping them navigate the many obstacles they may face in life’s journey with an evidence-based, collaborative, holistic, and person-centered approach. Kaileh strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for each of her clients wherein they feel truly seen and heard and can explore their story as well as develop new coping skills and deeper insight.

Kaileh uses a variety of integrative and evidence-based approaches including, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Informed practices including mind-body techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Inner-Child Work.

In her free time, Kaileh enjoys being active in nature either hiking with her adorable dog, Winston, or mountain biking.  As well as creating ceramics, traveling with friends, and getting cozy with a good book or podcast.
