Jessica Longbottom, MA, LMHC

Therapist

Ages 8+, Anxiety, Depression, Personal Growth, Self-Esteem, Therapeutic Art, Trauma

I believe we are the experts in our own stories, yet we can all benefit from compassion, genuine connection, and fresh perspectives as we navigate life’s challenges and move toward more inspired and meaningful living.

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space that fosters authenticity, mindfulness, and personal growth. My practice incorporates an integrative, client-centered approach, and a philosophy of acute self-awareness and acceptance. I also wholeheartedly believe that a little humor and creativity can go a long way!

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults, using a variety of evidence-based theories and techniques that include therapeutic art, accelerated resolution therapy (ART), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

In order to show up fully for others, I strive to prioritize my own self-care by practicing yoga, gardening, and with creative expression through music and art. I also enjoy hiking and paddle boarding with my friends and family.
