Grace Neale
Intern Therapist
Older adults, Anxiety, Depression, Mindfulness, Chronic Illness, Life Transitions
Hello! My name is Grace, and I am so happy you have chosen to read my bio. I fully believe that people deserve the opportunity to be heard through a nonjudgmental, encouraging, and supportive platform. I have seen how therapy can create this space and enhance one’s own life. I come with the mindset that each client is the expert on themselves, and I am simply along for the journey of exploration, positive change, and healing.
It is helpful when a client comes prepared for open, honest communication, and ready to explore themselves and their experiences. Many of the modalities I pull from are client-based, mindfulness and grounding techniques, existential theory, and somatic therapy. I strive to be aware of multicultural challenges related to race, gender, sexuality, age, and abilities. I understand how personal experiences can impact our navigation through this world. Professionally and personally, I strive for creative, humorous, and fun connections with others.
Currently, I am studying at Bellevue University for my M.S. in Mental Clinical Health Counseling. Previously, I have obtained my B.S. in Psychology and Linguistics from Western Washington University. Outside of my professional life I enjoy painting, reading, yoga, and cooking with my family.
