Navigating life changes, disruptions, and lulls can be inconvenient, confusing, and demanding. It can also be that sometimes we find ourselves feeling stuck or lost and needing someone to talk to.
Hello and welcome! I am here to help you find relief from the issues that are having an influence on your life, and to engage your desire for deeper and more meaningful connections with yourself and/or with others. I provide a quiet, supportive, and private space where you can process and organize your thoughts, feelings, and ultimately, your life. In a nutshell, you do not have to walk it alone. Sometimes the journey is made lighter when someone walks beside you. Therapy is about the exploration of you and what brings meaning to your life albeit at a pace that is comfortable for you. Showing up is half the battle… the rest, we will work on together.
Thankful to reside in Bellingham, my first passion has always been to help people and so, it is very important to me to support the people of the community I reside in. Prior to arriving, I received a Master of Science in Marital & Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I pull from a broad variety of therapeutic techniques depending on the context of the presenting issue(s) and I have a diverse range of experiences working with clients from all walks of life.
Finding time for self-care can be difficult but keeping it in mind I take every opportunity to travel, read, walk, dance, write, take photographs, learn something new, start and finish a variety of projects, and spend time with the people, my senior dog, and the things that make life feel meaningful.
