Bobbie has lived in Bellingham for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology/Sociology with an English Minor and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Western Washington University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington as well as a certified Child Mental Health Specialist and Developmental Disability Mental Health Specialist. For the last 12 years, she has been providing mental health services to children & families at a local non-profit agency.
Bobbie’s experience with children, families, and schools stretches back to 1993. Over that time she has volunteered thousands of hours to schools, Girl Scouts, Special Olympics, the Arc of Whatcom County and several other not-for-profit groups and organizations. In more recent years, she and her husband have discovered the joy of being grandparents.
